5. 4. Announcements:
a. The Coordinating Board has approved the request to change the Doctor of Education (EDD) degree with a major in Curriculum and Instruction to a Doctor of Philosophy. b. The Graduate and Professional Student Government Association (GPSGA) sponsored a Thesis/Dissertation Workshop on Thursday, September 25, 2003, led by Barbi Dickensheet, Thesis/Dissertation Supervisor. One hundred students attended the workshop. c. The GPSGA will host a Dissertation/Thesis Symposium on October 16, 2003, in the Library Room 205, from 9:00-11:30 a.m. and 1:00-3:30 p.m. The guest presenter will be Thomas Darwin, from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
5. Revisions to OP 64.01 (Admission to Graduate School) were discussed and approved. 6. Other Business
a. The November Graduate Council meeting will be on, Thursday, November 6, at 2:30 p.m., in the Provost’s Conference Room. b. The December Graduate Council meeting will be on Thursday, December 11 at 2:30 p.m., in Provost’s Conference Room.
